The new John Colianni Sextet brings its unique brand of modern swinging jazz to Jazz Tuesdays at the New York City Bahai Center this Tuesday January 30th at 8PM.
Leader – arranger Colianni combines the swinging virtuosity of piano masters like Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson with a totally modern harmonic sensibility.
Featuring its two tenor front line along with a dynamic rhythm section featuring Matt Chertkoff, Ralph Hamperian, and Steve Johns, they raise the bar to a high level of swinging creativity.
